The Role

We are looking for a Registered Manager to manage the operational day to day running of our vital Care at Home service, which enables our clients to live independently in their own homes.

You will have primary responsibility for ensuring effective delivery of high quality and individualised support to people in their own homes. We are looking for a leader to manage dedicated team of Personal Care Assistants that you will guide and develop, ensuring that the quality of the service is maintained.

This is challenging yet very rewarding position and you will be instrumental in ensuring that the service runs smoothly. You will also be responsible for identifying and developing strategies that will improve both the efficiency and the effectiveness of the service.

As our Registered Manager, you will:

  • Ensure that the service is structured in a way that provides flexibility, reliability, and continuity.
  • Participate in the strategic development to identify and develop care services which are innovative and high quality.
  • Ensure that complaints, safeguarding alerts, notifications, incidents and accidents are dealt with in a professional manner following company policies and procedures and where necessary local authority and regulatory procedures.
  • Ensure that visits and inspections by regulatory bodies such as the CQC are facilitated effectively

 

Key Results Areas

  • Care plans are reviewed and updated annually (as a minimum) to reflect a person-centred approach, identifying key goals and targets.
  • 100% compliance for all available staff within organisational mandatory and care specific training.
  • Individuals’ Care Packages are assessed with the relevant commissioners on an annual basis (as a minimum)
  • Resources are managed effectively, and efficiently resulting in the Care home finances remaining within the allocated budget.
  • Achieve an overall “Good” or “Outstanding” CQC Rating

What we are looking for from you!

  • Ability to develop and promote positive working relationships with individual service users
  • Experience of working as a Registered Manager within a domiciliary care service
  • Robust knowledge of “safeguarding” vulnerable adults and children.
  • Level 5 diploma in Health & Social Care
