We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, committed, and passionate Care Assistant who shares our ethos and values of breaking down barriers for disabled people. As a Night Care Assistant, your role will be to: Provide a high standard of care overnight, including hygiene, continence, mobility and general care. Carry out regular checks on residents at intervals determined by care plans and the management team. Assist residents throughout the night with whatever they need, maybe even just for company, reassurance or refreshments. Conform at all times with the night procedure and all other procedures in the home. Maintain accurate notes and records of residents and to hand over information to day staff that is relevant to the on-going care of individual residents. Undertaking regular training to ensure that you are up to date with changes to legislation and you deliver the very best standards of care. You Ideally, you will have some experience of working within a care setting, although this is not essential. However, you must possess a genuine desire to work within this field. You will: Have the ability to build excellent rapport and relationships with a wide variety of people Be totally reliable, trustworthy and honest. Be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
