The role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Training Specialist to join our Learning and Development team with a focus on our care teams. You will support our care staff and equip them with the tools that they will need to be able to deliver the best possible service.

Your role will be to design and deliver a full range of mandatory training modules to new starters and yearly refresher training to existing staff to meet CQC requirements. You will work closely with our Head of Learning and Development to identify further opportunities for training across the organisation.

As our Training Specialist, you will:

  • Schedule and deliver mandatory training to meet the needs of both new starters and refreshers (for existing staff), ensuring that all employees are up to date and 100% compliant and ensuring that training does not expire.
  • Design support tools to help staff retain and apply knowledge on the job.
  • Manage the NVQ’s and support learners to complete these.
  • Coach supervisors and managers as required to support Enham Living Transition Project.
  • Evaluate all training delivered and amend content in line with findings.

What we are looking for from you!

  • Experience designing and delivering learning interventions utilising a variety of delivery methods (blended/digital)
  • Knowledge of Health and Social Care Standards.
  • Experience of designing and delivering training in a regulated area.
  • Experience leading in the following topics: Moving, assisting and handling/Safeguarding & Mental capacity, Administering medications and Person-centred care.
