It's up to us! Let's help make this summer one disabled people we support will never forget... Like ever.

Frequent news headlines and countless alarming statistics provide a stark reminder of the vast issues disabled people continue to face, and we're doing something about it.

Help us support disabled people to LIVE, WORK and ENJOY life this summer!

Disabled people’s living costs are already 25% higher than non disabled people’s before the current cost of living crisis is considered. Disabled people spend an average of £550 a month on costs associated with their disability including transport, specialist equipment and carers

It's not enough to just exist, let's support disabled people to LIVE! This isn't an issue we can solve overnight, but statistics like these are the incentive someone like you might need to go that extra mile and provide opportunity to a disabled person to live a full, happy life.

The smallest gesture is a great place to start, so why not support a disabled person to attend a session in our newly-opened Sports and Wellbeing Hall this summer; a chance to form teams, meet new people and socialise with friends, all whilst improving their strength and mobility.

In fact, just £5 is all you need to get started!

On top of the increased living costs disabled people face, they are also almost twice as likely to be unemployed as non-disabled people (Scope)

Did you know we offer to support disabled people into WORK here at Enham Trust? In fact, as well as running our very own social enterprise and having a dedicated team to supporting disabled people through employment, we have our very own radio station which enables the people we support to run and host their very own radio show.

By donating £25 to Enham Trust, you could pay for a disabled people to broadcast a weekly live radio show for one month.

Enjoying an active social life and having a circle of support can help people with a learning disability to feel happier, included and valued (Mencap report 2022)

With your support, we can encourage the people we support to go against this statistic and ENJOY life this summertime. Whether it be taking our theatre-lovers afield to a west-end show or simply providing someone we support with the opportunity to attend a session in our very own Activities Centre, we can do just that!

£10 can contribute towards a disabled person attending an upcycling session at Enham Trust and an opportunity to unleash their imagination, learn new skills and socialise with friends in a creative space.
