The Role

We are looking for a motivated and passionate Recruitment and Retention Specialist to lead and maintain all areas of talent attraction, selection, and retention of employees.

In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of recruitment activity for all permanent, variable hours and hard to fill positions, which will include writing adverts, proactive identification and sourcing of candidates, shortlisting, interviews, and onboarding of employees within the charity.

You will lead on the end-to-end recruitment process, working closely with hiring managers to advise and recommend individual recruitment solutions that are tailored around their needs.

As our Recruitment and Retention Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for candidates that wish to embark on their Enham journey, so it is vital that you are able to engage with them effectively and ensure that they have a strong experience.

As our Recruitment and Retention Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Provide guidance to managers on updating job descriptions and person specifications to ensure that they are in line with operational requirements and support recruitment in interview process as required.
  • Utilise networking, internet recruiting resources, media channels and agency partners to find the “best talent” for open positions.
  • Champion employee rewards and work with the Head of People to maintain the recognition strategy and tactics.
  • Working with the wider People Team to maintain and inspire an industry leading employee experience and company culture that promotes retention within the workforce.
  • Communicate with managers and employees regularly to promote our attraction strategy and any internal vacancies.

 

What we are looking for from you!

  • Proven experience of managing end to end recruitment processes
  • Ability to use your interpersonal skills to manage relationships with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and with varying communication needs and requirements.
  • Extensive working experience with LinkedIn, Jobsites and other social media tools
  • Proven experience of supporting high volumes of recruitment activity
  • Proven business partnering experience to a senior level, and have the ability to build and influence relationships with stakeholders in the business
