The Organisation: Enham Trust

Here at #TeamEnham our vision is to support disabled people to live, work and enjoy life and we achieve this through providing housing, care and employment; we are so much more than this and have our own charity shop, and commercial businesses amongst other things. We’re also a charity and regulated by the RSH, CQC and Ofsted. It’s a story that everyone here at Enham is proud of but doesn’t end there; the future is looking bright with exciting growth plans in place that will take us even further. Our values play a very important part in life at Enham, it’s what we do! #TOGETHERWeDoAmazing #WeWOWPeopleEveryDay #DareToBeDifferent.

As our HR Business Partner, you will:

Form a vital part of our passionate People HR Team of 5 and bring passion to everything you do! Whether this is making small talk over the water cooler or in the virtual world, analysing data, developing pivots in Ms Excel, coaching one of #TeamEnham on a complex HR matter, leading on TUPE, stumbling across a problem and fixing it without needing to be asked or delivering a staff event such as our annual work-anniversary celebrations. You might not have been in a leadership role or managed people before but what you do have is leadership qualities that inspire.

This role is both strategic and operational in design so you must be comfortable doing both. In a fast-paced environment, you will also be continuously juggling priorities, so this won’t phase you. Your TUPE experience will impress, and you will have led numerous HR projects ranging from restructures, consultation, disciplinaries and investigations. Your experience doesn’t stop there and you’re pretty darn amazing at sickness absence management and knowledgeable when it comes to disability/health conditions which may require reasonable adjustments and all the processes which run alongside this.

As well as the day to day work associated with this role, one of your first tasks will be to jump right in feet first and fix our policies. We have far too many HR policies so working with key stakeholders you will review, cogitate, and make recommendations to burn some, simplify them all and bung a few into our Employee Handbook. We want to make life as simple as possible at Enham and not be constrained

What we are looking for from you:

For this role we are looking for someone with a hands-on attitude and a pragmatic approach to problem solving and decision making. You will need to be a true partner to your stakeholders and able to build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders.

We are looking for someone that is able manage their time effectively and can take the lead on a variety of complex issues, including grievance, disciplinary, dismissal (including settlement agreements), absence/AWOL, tribunals, and occupational health ER Caseloads.

We have a variety of regulators including the RSH, CQC and Ofsted that we need to ensure that we comply with, so experience in a regulated environment is critical. We need someone that can lead with TUPE and guide our hiring managers through the process.

  • Discounted healthcare membership
  • Cycle to work scheme
