The role

We are looking for a Head of Income Generation to play a pivotal role in the trust’s growth agenda. Your role will be to lead the Trusts Fundraising Strategy and lead the trusts work to identify, prepare for, and submit high quality competitive tenders for new business opportunities.

You will have line management responsibility for the fundraising team and will be responsible for developing and implementing the Enham fundraising strategy.

This is a role of significant importance within Enham with this position being a vital member of the Senior Leadership team. This role will have full autonomy to lead the income generation function and guide us to our aspiration of generating £1 million in revenue per year.

As our Head of Income Generation, you will:

  • Monitor market sectors that provide tender growth opportunities for the trust and provide strategic insight and direction to the directors and service leads to inform service development and lead us in becoming tender ready.
  • Attend market engagement and tender opportunity events, working with service leads to understand market opportunities at an early stage and develop trust wide understanding of the provider landscape within target sectors.
  • Update and implement a sustainable fundraising strategy ensuring that it supports and contributes to the organisations strategic plan.
  • Lead the annual fundraising planning process to produce effective strategies to achieve income targets across a range of revenue streams.
  • Research prospective funders and work closely with the fundraising team and colleagues to develop compelling and effective applications for funds to support the work of Enham Trust.
  • Develop and grow supporter base, working with the fundraising team, existing supporters, volunteers, and trustees to increase support at a grassroots level.

 

What we are looking for from you:

  • Track record of drafting high quality, engaging proposals to secure contracts from local authorities, CCG’s, or other statutory authorities.
  • Proven track record of achieving income in excess of £250k fundraising income.
  • Prior experience of managing a fundraising team
  • Strong tender/bid and fundraising writing skills
