Permanent | Full Time | Andover with travel to S2A Centres | £35,000  

 The role:

We are looking for a passionate Curriculum & Quality Manager to lead the delivery of our Skills2Achieve (S2A) contract! S2A is a brilliant program that supports 16–19-year-olds to enhance their employment and skills, re-enter education or find fulfilling apprenticeships to build any career that they want!

You will be responsible to the achievement of performance and quality KPI’s across all S2A Centres which are in Southampton, Portsmouth, Eastleigh, and Basingstoke. This role will require frequent travel to the other centres on a regular basis in addition to our Head Office in Andover, so the ability to be mobile is essential.

In this role you will manage the daily operational delivery across the S2A centres ensuring that there is a high-quality learning experience for our learners. You will support our tutors in carrying out induction assessment and reviews with learner to ensure consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement of the service.

As our Curriculum & Quality Manager you will:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with other professionals in the local area to enhance referrals to the programme.
  • Adjust contract delivery as required in line with contractual and organisational chances.
  • Drive high quality delivery of teaching and learning with positive progression and outcomes for learners.
  • Identify and establish potential growth opportunities for the service.
  • Ensure that the S2A Programme quality is delivered to an OFSTED grade 2 minimum.
  • Work with Head of Employment & Skills to manage departmental skills.
  • Work within Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework (EIF) ensuring that delivery is consistently strong, and improvements are focussed, effective and enhance learner’s experience.

What we are looking for from you:

Essential:

  • Knowledge of working in the skills sector with vulnerable young people.
  • Skills in enabling and motivating young people with complex barriers to access and achieve in their learning.
  • Proven skills and experience in multi-agency working to support vulnerable young people in their everyday lives.
  • Experience in managing EFSA contracts.
  • Experience of taking a leading role in Ofsted inspections.
