The role

We are looking for a proactive and passionate Business Development Executive to identify and engage with new potential prospects for our social enterprise (3PL). Your role will be to pitch 3PL’s services and build and secure new business opportunities. Your aim will be to build and diversify the customer base and de-risk the 3PL operation.

As our Business Development Executive, you will:

  • Actively build a more diverse customer base at 3PL
  • Develop and implement a plan to raise awareness of Enham 3PL as a supplier/partner of final packaging, picking, and packing amongst local and national businesses
  • Creating successful strategies to reach new business opportunities which grow the income stream for the enterprise whilst meeting its primary objective of providing employment opportunities for disabled people
  • Research and identify new business opportunities, seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation and generate leads with prospective clients
  • Build relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs
  • Pitching for work to new and existing clients, demonstrating the value to their organisation in relation to Corporate Social Responsibility

What we are looking for from you!

  • Previous experience in a business development role.
  • Experience managing multiple proposals.
  • Experience influencing at a senior level.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be an advocate for the Trust.
