Building Layout Consultation

The following information is an update on the change of our model from residential care homes to supported living. We are requesting feedback from those affected by this change on the proposed floorplans.

Below you will find two videos, we invite you to watch them in the order of;

1. Update on ‘Enham Living’ model of care - You will hear from many of the project team members how under supported living many things will remain the same, but also what will be different.
2. 'Your Home at Enham' floorplan consultation video - This video explains the changes we would like to make the buildings to make them shared cluster flats. It provides a visual illustration of what this might look like and why we are suggesting this layout of the buildings.

There are downloadable PDFs on the 'Update on Enham Living model of care' video as well as more detail on the floorplan proposal and request for feedback on the building layouts mentioned in our 'Your Home at Enham' video. Easy Read versions are also available below and printed hard copies of these materials are available upon request at [email protected].

After watching both videos, we are inviting our residents and their circle of support, be that family, friends, advocates or those with power of attorney, to complete the feedback form provided and return to us at by 9am on Monday 9th August. There is both a printable and digital version available which can be downloaded and used for your intended purposes. You can return forms to the Enham Living Project Team via email at [email protected] or by giving this to your PA.

We have provided a shorter window for feedback as the proposed building layout is the only issue that we needed to come back to you for comments. We understand that it will be important for us to feed back on this as soon as we can. We aim to report a summary of the feedback we receive by the middle of August, so that we can start individual conversations with you about your personal aspirations, and the next steps.

Building Layout Consultation: Results

In July we asked you to share your thoughts on the proposed building configurations as part of our move to a supported living model of care.

Thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts, questions, and suggestions with us. We really value your feedback which has helped us to refine elements of the design.  

Please find below a video update message from project manager Sarah Charlton as well as a downloadable document detailing the feedback from and final decision outcome of the floorplan consultation. This is also available in Easy Read.

A Q&A document has also been included, which hopefully answers a number of additional questions people have put forward. An Easy Read version of this file is being completed and will be uploaded shortly.
