Jobs Work as an independent carer (PA) Waking Night Support Worker Job Ref: JK/LP | Permanent | Plymouth PL6 | Hourly Rate £8.50 | Closing Date: 30th April Job overview A vacancy has arisen with-in a small, professional team for a waking night support worker, 2/3 nights per week. The support team provides 24 hour care to a man in his twenties with physical disabilities and complex health needs in his family home. The present team are reliable and flexible providing a great standard of care; we are seeking a person who would fit well within this team. Night shifts are generally 12 hours, starting at 21.00. The shift includes the use of ceiling track hoists, ventilator, giving medication and working alone to position the client during the night. Full training will be given in-house. For mandatory training, by outside providers, you will need to be available during the day time. We can offer an opportunity for you to take the Care Certificate or Diploma in Care. We are seeking someone with a genuine interest in providing good quality care, ideally you will have previous care experience.
