KG/JR | Permanent | Taunton TA1 | Hourly Rate: £10-£12 | Closing Date: 30th June 2019 Job Overview: Working in a busy but fun filled home could you assist a young man with his overnight care and support? I need someone to care for me so that my parents can get a good night’s sleep however they are on hand if you really need them!I want a carer who can anticipate my needs as I am non verbal, to look after my health. I have a tracheostomy and epilepsy, I need my oxygen levels and breathing etc. monitored closely and I use a CPAP machine. Experience of working with disabled people or in health care would be an advantage but full training will be given. Hours: Sunday Nights & Bank Holidays - 10pm-7.30am Duties:To care for me overnight. To be awake and vigilant to my needs by taking accurate and regular observations of all my vital signs, again full training will be given. To alert my family if there are any issues. To ensure that I am clean and comfortable in bed through out the night and to assist me with washing and dressing in the morning. Essential:Enhanced DBS check undertakenFull agreement to undertake all necessary training Desired:To be kind, reliable and calm at all times. To communicate well with the team of pa’s and the employer. Also to enjoy working in a busy fun family home with children and dogs.
