Job Overview:

The employer requires support to access the community and support within the home. This role is a lone working position and an Enhanced DBS is required. It is a permanent position, subject to continued funding and the successful completion of a 6 month probationary period.

Hourly Rate:

£10.50 per hour weekdays, £11.00 per hour weekends

Client Biography:

18 year old male with autism and learning difficulties, who is healthy and energetic and loves the activities below. Support workers for the holidays and term times required.
Main Duties:
• Plan new local activities
• Be energetic and motivated to encourage employer to explore options within his community and develop interests. Current interests are as below
• Cinema
• Gym sessions
• Swimming
• Trampolining
• Eating out

Ideal Candidate:
• Experience in similar role
• Knowledge of how to support individuals with autism
• Knowledge of Swindon and surrounding area
• Reliable is very important with excellent timekeeping skills
• Motivated and encouraging attitude
• Enhanced DBS Check
• Legally Able To Work in UK

Essential Criteria:
Type of experience required: Support experience
Length of experience required: 6 months
An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) will be required the cost will be met by employer.
