I am 12 years old. I have autism, ADHD and additional learning needs. I have a lot of energy and love physical and sporting activities. I really like playing football and tennis and need someone who has a good knowledge of football. You will be helping me access my community and learning how to stay safe.

 

 

I love playing football and I am very good at learning tricks and stunts. I likebug hunting, dinosaurs, collecting rubix cubes, drawing and playing tennis.

I have a lot of energy and love physical and sporting activities. I really like playing football and tennis. I need someone who can keep up with me and has a good interest in football. I like walking on the beach and going to the wood. I love rock music and I’m learning to play the guitar. I also have a drum kit

Duties:

I will need support to stay safe in the community due to my lack of awareness of road safety, stranger danger, and other risks around me.

I am very sociable and friendly; however, I will sometimes speak to strangers and people that I don’t know. I may also say things that are inappropriate whilst trying to be funny, and struggle to understand social cues. I like everyone to think I’m funny, but sometimes go too far with this.

I will need support accessing activities of interest to me, trying new things, and helping my self-esteem and confidence. I have a love of bug hunting (especially spiders) and Rubix cubes. I am passionate about music and am learning to play the guitar. I also have a drum kit.

Sometimes I need some time away from my brother so I am looking forward to being able to go out on my own.

I have a love of nature and enjoy being in the great outdoors.

I need someone with high energy levels who is able to keep up with me.

I will need someone who is able to drive. I am a good traveller and behave well in the car and can sit in the front or the back. I like to chat to the driver during the journey, and I like to comment on people’s style of driving.

I will need someone who has good communication skills and who can effectively communicate with me and my parents.

I will need someone patient and with knowledge and understanding of additional needs. Although I am 12 years old, I still play and behave like I am a little bit younger.

Hours: 

4 hours a week during term time – at the weekends

8 hours a week during school holidays – to be negotiated

Pay: £11.50

Essential Requirements: 

You must have a driving license and a car.

You must have experience of working with children with additional needs.

Desired Requirements: 

Experience of working with children with social and emotional needs.
