The role:

We are looking for a Risk Lead to proactively plan, design, and implement our risk management strategy throughout the organisation. Your role will be to identify potential risks and support decision making on a variety of strategic, operational, and organisational plans and projects.

As our Risk lead you will need to be able to identify potential risks or areas for improvement within our processes and activities with the aim of enhancing practice and safety. You will also provide advice and guidance to Senior Management and guide their decision-making process.

We are looking for someone that can build strong relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders from a variety of departments and provide them with assurance, support and advice regarding risk management and data protection.

We are looking for a dedicated risk management professional to take up a starring role here at Enham. Could this be you?

As our Risk Lead, you will:

  • Plan, design, implement and review the overall risk management process throughout the organisation.
  • Conduct risk assessment and risk analysis as well as identifying, describing, and estimating the risks to the organisation.
  • Report on risk in appropriate ways to a range of stakeholders including the trustees and business heads, ensuring that the most significant risks are understood and that they are aware of the risk relevant to their parts of the business and that individuals understand their accountability for individual risk.
  • Lead incident management and data protection monitoring and analysis, ensuring that they are effectively managed and risk mitigation is appropriate, providing reports on findings to CEO, Trustees and Stakeholders as required.
  • Carry out audits of policy and compliance regarding risk and working with internal quality auditors to unify audit finding and recommendations to support improvement.
  • Provide support, education, and training to build risk awareness within the organisation and embed risk management activities in the Enham culture.
  • Lead the review of safeguarding incidents and implement processes to mitigate potential safeguarding risks.

What we are looking for from you:


  • Demonstrable experience in a Risk Management role.
  • Ability to think analytically and come up with clear judgements.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the principals of safeguarding.
  • Demonstrable experience providing advice and guidance to a wide range of senior stakeholders.
  • Experience leading on safeguarding incidents and implementing safeguarding process reviews.


  • Experience in incident management
  • Relevant risk management/compliance qualification
