Personal Assistant in Care

Hours Required:
(Days and times) 4 hours per week, flexible by agreement

Hourly Rate: £10 per hour

Job Overview:
To support through providing motivation and encouragement to an individual with autism and mental health

Main Duties:
Support with organisation
Keeping up to date with household tasks
Helping to motivate (due to struggling with mood and motivation)
Accompanying to appointments, therefore a requirement to have own transport available for work.
Support with correspondence.
Supporting to make phone calls.
Supporting to go to volunteering at Milestones Museum, Basingstoke. Volunteering includes Sewing at home. Including me helping them to run events
Struggle to keep routine, so support and encouragement to do this is required.
Support with routine and to minimise anxiety around the kitchen.
Encouragement and reassurance around personal care routine.
Support to focus on routine.
Must like dogs.
Experience with autism and mental health preferred.
Understanding and supportive around what it means for me to leave the house.

Ideal Candidate:
• Experience of Autism and Mental Health
• Enhanced DBS Check
• Legally Able To Work in UK
