I am a 61-year-old woman with learning disability. I live in the house I was brought up in, which I take pride in keeping it nice. Routine is very important to me and I also like to take time to do various daily tasks, such as preparing my things for a day at the community link. I love animals, the cinema, walking in the forest or on the beach out of season, swimming, crafting, painting, doing jigsaw puzzles and baking. I also like to visit cafes for tea and cake, museums, art galleries and churches. You will help me with all these things. Plus you will help me with bathing and keeping my home clean and well stocked with groceries. Also, I need support to attend medical and dental appointments.

6.30-8.30.00am weekdays — serve breakfast, help with making bed, medication and exercises for knees and general body strength. Normally you would make a packed lunch and prepare me for a day at the community link before transport arrives at 8.30am to take me there. You will be at the house  when I arrive home in the afternoon at 16.30 and will prepare a light supper. By 19.00 you will run a bath and help me with my evening routine. However, because of the Covid 19 pandemic I am  only going to the community link twice a week until things return to normal. Meanwhile, you will follow a weekend-type schedule with shift changeover in the morning or afternoon, depending on your preference. The weekend routine involves shopping with me and going to the cinema or various other places. You will also help with laundry and housework.
