Job Title: Personal Care Assistant
Hours Required: 8 hours per week.
Mornings - every Friday and every other Thursday and every other weekend
Hourly Rate: £11 per hour

Job Overview: Experience providing assistance with people with disabilities is desired but not essential.

A Personal Assistant is required for a disabled male in his twenties to assist him with his daily tasks. You will be required to attend his home in the morning to assist him with personal care, getting dressed and preparing breakfast. He will also require assistance transferring from his wheelchair into the car and being taken to hospital appointments on occasion. He is currently unemployed but is seeking employment which he will also require assistance with, in terms of attending interviews, and job centre appointments. It is likely that your working hours will be extended once he finds employment in order to provide assistance getting to and from work.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a well organised, reliable and trustworthy individual who has the ability to plan, organise and carry out tasks independently. You should be mindful that there is somewhat of a physical element to this role in order to provide assistance with transfers.
