Job Overview: Assist with personal care (for example, showering/washing, dressing, taking medication) and sit with client when his wife has appointments etc.

Client Biography:

Elderly gentleman who has reduced mobility, memory issues and some loss of hearing. He used to be a keen gardener and still likes to look at his garden and talk about his plants.


18hrs broken down as a job share between 2 PAs

  • 1 hour morning calls 7 days per week;
  • 45min evening calls – 7 days a week; 
  • 4 hours sitting service a week
  • 1.25 hours to be taken as a lunch time call

Ideal Candidate

 Essential Criteria: Someone who is caring, cheerful and has a good sense of humor. Also, ideally, a good time keeper with a high degree of patience. Must be reliable, honest and trustworthy as well as able to plan, multitasking and operate without supervision.

 Type of experience required: someone who is able to carry out some personal care (such as assist client to shower/wash and help with dressing), ideally with experience in doing this. Experience of helping older adults with mobility and memory issues.
