Personal Care Assistant - Car Driver.

Taunton TA2

£11.50 rising to £13.00 per hour after 3 months probation
36 hours variable shifts

To undertake a schedule of care needs including Feeding, personal care and domestic tasks
To assist with bathing, toileting and dressing
To assist with preparing and administrating feeds and medication
To keep house clean
To supervise the safe transfer of the employer from the wheelchair to the bed using of an ceiling track hoist ensuring best practice in lifting techniques
To undergo appropriate induction and ongoing training
To work to a rota to maintain a high standard of personal and domestic hygiene and cleanliness
To drive the employer in his adapted van.
To ensure that the employer’s dignity and privacy are respected at all times.
To demonstrate the highest personal standards of punctuality, honesty and integrity.
To Work in partnership with other carers to ensure good working relationship

To be considered for this role, you must hold at least an NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care, have a full, clean, valid UK Driver’s Licence.
