Location: Plymouth PL4Pay: National minimum wage £8.72 per hourHours: School holidays Monday - Friday and occasional Sunday’s 9am until 6pm (hours may vary) Introduction:Harry is a 14 year old boy with severe learning difficulties and epilepsy which comes from being brain damaged through having meningitis. He is double incontinent and needs constant one to one care and supervision. He has no sense of danger and minimal communication and understanding. Duties:Harry will need comprehensive personal care. He will also need one to one support out and about with family. Essential requirements:Must drive and have appropriate insurance (you will not be asked to transport Harry only in exceptional circumstances) Must be physically capable. CRB check preferred (but can be obtained ourselves) Desired experience:Experience with working with special needs children or young adults preferred.
