Support Worker - Car Driver
Hours Required: 6 hours per week to suit both parties
Hourly Rate: £12.00 per hour

Job Overview:

Support Worker wanted for a Lovely Young Lady in the Pinehurst area of Swindon.

Whilst all applicants are welcome to apply and will be considered the client is hoping the most suitable candidate has also had the Covid vaccine as this is a vulnerable client. The applicant must be willing to cooperate where possible with Covid safety measures such as PPE.

The role is to cover the main duties below with a lovely lady who lives in her own home with her family.

Main Duties:
• Assistance with PEG feeds
• Support with hoisting required
• Butterfly World visits
• Cinema outings
• Bowling sessions
• Roves Farm outings
• Assistance with attending activities in the local community as above

Ideal Candidate:
• Must be reliable
• Experience preferred but not essential as training can be given
• Be able to drive and be happy to use family car
• Have an outgoing personality and a good motivator
• Confidence to try new activities with the client and have an interest in the above activities
• Enhanced DBS Check
• Legally Able To Work in UK

Essential Criteria:
Type of experience required: Working with disabled persons or training can be given.
Full Driving Licence: Essential
Use of Own Car: Essential and must be able to carry wheelchair when attending activities.
Language: English
