Support Worker required for lovely older lady with Alzheimer’s in Coleview

Job Overview:
The employer requires support within the home for his wife who has Alzheimer’s. This role is a lone working position and an Enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) is required for all staff undertaking the role. It is a permanent position, subject to continued funding and the successful completion of a 6 month probationary period. 

Hours:

8 Hours per week.

Pay Rate:

£11.20 per hour.

Main Duties:

  • Companionship
  • To assist the employer with tasks within the home including light household tasks
  • Meal preparation
  • Assist with personal care
  • Provide support for the employer, enabling them to access the local community, broadening their range of activities.
  • Must be vigilant when out due to wandering

  • Enhanced DBS Check
  • Legally Able To Work in UK

Essential Criteria:

  • Length of experience required: 6 months
  • An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) will be required the cost will be met by employer.
