Job Ref: PM/LP -  Location: UK Cruise - Pay Rate: TO BE AGREED - Closing Date: Ongoing

9-night cruise around the UK from Southampton. Employed time to start in Plymouth at Family Home.

Pay to be discussed at telephone interview.

Employment to start on 18 September through to 27 September 2021.

I am a 64-year-old man with a C4 spinal cord injury.  I am going on holiday with my wife and would like carers to come for the day-to-day personal care including showering and dressing.  I have a stoma and a catheter and would need some help with these.

The holiday is a cruise around the UK for 9 nights.  Cruise includes all meals, a drinks package, WiFi and entertainment.  The cruise will be paid for the carer as well as travel to and from Southampton Docks.  Travel insurance will also be paid for if necessary.

As well as day to day personal care, I may wish to have some company at the bar or at quiz during the day, but this will be minimal and depend on day to day activities.  Work will be around 2-4 hours per day and the remainder of the time, carers can enjoy their luxury surroundings and all the usual onboard entertainment as if they were on their own holiday!

I am looking for at least one carer with experience to take care of my personal needs.  1 carer would work with my wife but would take the lead.  Or, and preferably, I am looking for 2 carers who can work together and spend their downtime together for company.

Ideally suit a couple or friends.
