I am a young woman. I am neurodivergent and am diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos syndrome. I like to learn about advocacy to help those who are like myself. I love being creative and am artistic.
I love learning and some of my interests are nature and animals, the human body including researching my conditions, photography, musicals, singing and film. I have a degree in film studies and love analysing films. I'm also a big fan of Disney.

Hours £12.46 per hour

Hours: 19 hours per week

- Help organising my day and everything incorporated due to executive dysfunction
- Help making meals and planning meals
- Medication prompting
- Flat maintenance - physical & mental support
- Communication support - including medical appointments, phone calls, helping me process communication etc
- Emotional support - with regards to ptsd and mental health
- Supporting to enable me to have experiences that without support I couldn't do eg science museum, theatre, shopping and other outings near and slightly further
- Helping in the process of learning about my conditions and therefore how to manage them - a great opportunity for both of us to learn something new
- Physiotherapy e.g., exercises, stretches, exercise

- Clean driving license and a car
- Dbs check
- Ability to be flexible and open to new challenges, ideas and experiences
- Self-awareness and awareness of others responses to your actions
- Open to learning from others and willing to share knowledge and experiences
- Continually look for improvement in what we do by talking to those you support and people around you
- Open and honest communication always
- Always open to learning and not afraid to say I don't know and working together towards understanding
- Understanding boundaries and comfortable in setting healthy boundaries
- Experience with autistic people is not necessarily required as long as you are open and keen to learn
