Introduction: Support for a young lady with Cerebal Palsy

We are looking for a kind, honest, reliable trustworthy PA to help my daughter with personal care, promote independence and healthy choices. She is wheelchair bound and physically disabled, however can fully converse and has fully capacity to make choices.
Driving license essential as you will be driving a wheelchair accessible vehicle. Must have a good sense of humour and patience, as anxiety can take over. A person who has an interest in making a difference in someone else’s life and who has idea’s to help fill her day.
She has an interest in Social Media, vlogs, podcasts and video’s
She likes days out, and loves cities rather than beaches.
Experience desirable however, full training will be given.

Job Description
To help with Personal Care, tracking hoists installed.
Promote independence and healthy choices.
Accompany to hospital appointments
To help prepare meals (likes to help in Kitchen)
To support when able to gain employment, voluntary or paid.

16-20 hours per week will include alternate weekend and occasional evening work. Support while on holiday, also cover for sickness and annual leave.

Rate: £10.50 per hour

Further Information
6 months probationary period, a contract will be supplied, holiday pay, Statuary Sick Pay, and an option to join the work-based pension scheme.
