Job Overview

I am a 59 year old man with Multiple Sclerosis. I use a wheelchair and I enjoy going on outings, sometimes with my wheelchair accessible vehicle. I love railways and history. You will be helping me with personal hygiene, getting dressed, eating and drinking, hoisting, and light house work.

Training will be given in accordance with the care plan.

8.30 – 9.30: Personal hygiene incl. hair wash & shave, medications, replenish water supply
12.30-1.15: Personal hygiene, medication, replenish water supply, hoisting
1.15 -4.15: Outing/sitting service/light housework
(Tuesdays & Thursdays)
4.15-5.00: personal hygiene, medication, replenishing water supply
7.15- 8.00: personal hygiene, medication, replenishing water supply.

NVQ2 or above, driving license, taking initiative, paying attention to detail
(Over 25yrs – mobility insurance requirement?)

Emergency 1st aid, moving & handling, cooking skills, ironing skills.
