Job Overview:
Urgent support required for an elderly disabled gentleman in the Swindon area.

Main Duties:
• 9am to 5pm, hours are flexible and can be adjusted

• Monday to Friday cover, with some weekend working as and when required

• Personal Care for elderly male with walking/speech difficulty following stroke

• Assisting with personal care and daily living; changing patients bedding and ironing clothes included in duties.
• Assisting other Carer with toileting, bathing, supporting at meal times
• Moving and handling
• Training can be given to provide basic physio, i.e. arm and leg movement whilst the patient is sat down, but not necessary. Also, training on taking and noting basic blood pressure oxygen levels with equipment and charts provided.
• Punjabi, Hindi speaking advantageous but not essential.
• Caring, compassionate, punctual and reliable

Ideal Candidate:
• 6 months experience in a similar role, e.g. paid carer role or family carer
• Enhanced DBS Check
• Legally able to Work in UK

Essential Criteria:
Type of experience required: MINIMUM 6 months working as a carer or in hospital as a nurse/care assistant
Length of experience required: 6 months
Full Driving Licence: not required
Use of Own Car: not required
Gender: Male or female
Language: Punjabi, Hindi speaking advantageous but not essential
