Job Overview
Disabled young lady with numerous long-term health conditions requires support with day to day living. Experience of the care sector is an advantage but not essential. Common sense, good instincts and a positive attitude with a sense of humour outweigh experience.

Hours - Flexible 10 - 14 hrs per week over 3 or 5 days to suit

Hourly rate = £12.50

Main Duties

- Personal care when required including emptying commode when in use
- Prepare meals in advance for family (Usually recipe box meals)
- Household chores/ cleaning/ tidying
- Assist with Physiotherapy
- Support attending medical appointments
- Companionship
- Support with food shopping
- Access the community (Pottery/ Painting/ Coffees)

Idea Candidate

- Likes cats (2 very friendly boys)
- Able to drive employers’ large car
- Friendly and chatty
- Understanding of chronic illnesses
- Experience in Emergency situations requiring 999 e.g. Fall/ Asthma attack etc

- Able to load wheelchair in and out of car
- Full clean UK driving licence
