Support Worker

Know internally as a Personal assistant in Care (PA)

£11.50 per hour Full / Part Time available 

Sleepover rate £84 per night


To support Claire, a lady based in Wickham, who lives in a purpose-built bungalow.

Claire accesses the community on a daily basis along with her support workers and enjoys many activities such as swimming, bike rides, boat trips, going to discos and clubs.


Whilst Claire uses public transport, she has her own car, therefore you must be a driver to ensure this can continue as part of her routine.

Claire has a learning disability, communication difficulties and she can have behaviours that challenge, therefore experience of having supported individuals within these areas an advantage.

You will need to be a patient, understanding and energetic individual with a good sense of humour, who is comfortable working alone at times and confident in providing reassurance and support.

Proven experience within social care is required and professional studies/qualifications within this area are desirable.
