A Personal Assistant required for a Gentleman who is in his late 60s living in the PL2 area of Plymouth. Employer is looking for someone who is outgoing, caring and patient who can easily engage in conversation. Support required to enable activities such as going to the local pub.

Hours: 7 Hours per week to be worked flexibly

Duties and Responsibilities:
• The employer is an electronic wheelchair user, support needed when out in the community to find suitable drop curbs.
• Support when attending medical appointments
• Promote conversation with gentlemen’s interests such as engines
• Some personal care may be required.
• Any other reasonable task to allow the service user to live independently

Essential requirements:
• Enhanced DBS required. Cost met by employer
• Legally entitled to work in the U.K

Desirable requirements:
• Experience in health & social care
• Experience with Dementia
• Experience with MS
• Experience with Diabetes
• Interest in mechanics and engines
