Job Ref. AG/EB | Permanent | Taunton TA3 | Rate £14.10 per hour | Closes 5th April

I am a 39-year-old man with learning disabilities, autism and epilepsy which is controlled by medication. I live with my parents but like to get out to give everyone a break. I enjoy arts, crafts, snooker, pool, and cooking with support. I am able bodied and can get out and about. I love pop music. I am looking to develop other interests and activities in the community. I like magazines and I would like you to support me with research about different people.

Hours: 18 hours a week split over 3 days 6 hours 10am – 4pm FLEXIBLE Wednesday, Thursday, Friday NO EVENINGS OR WEEKENDS

Rate: £14.10 per hour

There is no formal structure to the day, but it would be good to develop a routine and meet the client’s needs and outcomes. There is scope for creativity and discovering new things which can be decided together.

Essential Requirements: Driving licence would be preferable.

Desired Experience: Would prefer experience but not essential training is available via the employer. An understanding of autism would really help.
