I am a 7-year-old boy who has severe autism. I am preverbal, and I still wear a nappy, so will need support with this. I really like meting people and enjoy one to one interaction. I find it hard to focus or spend time on specific tasks. I have lots of energy and I like to run outside. I like music and water play. I am developing an interest in animals.

Hourly Rate: £10-1-£12.50 per hour dependent on experience.
Hours: 7 plus during school holidays.
Possible hours during week in the future depending on funding.

The seven hours will preferably be in two different shifts over the week. This will include changing the client’s nappy. The objectives will be to monitor and achieve the outcomes of the care plan. This is to help the client access the community and to develop his own interests. It’s important that the client begins to trust another adult outside his family. Part of the role will be to reinforce strategies This would also give mum a break. and manage behaviour.

Having transport would be preferable. A DBS check would be required but will be funded under the terms of employment. Expenses will be covered.

Desired Experience:
Special needs experience would be desirable or experience with Autism or ADHD.
