Permanent | Full Time (37.5 hours per week) | Hampshire | £30,000 to £33,000 per annum DOE 

We are looking for a dedicated and engaging Partnership Manager to develop current relationships and nurture future relationships with our Skills 2 Achieve team. Your role will be to increase referrals to the programme and increase the number of new learners joining our educational programmes.

As our Partnership Manager, you will enhance the S2A profile and increase the reach and impact of the service with new and existing communities. You will be critical to developing the growth in the number of young people that engage in the programme and securing partnerships to deliver our programme of activities.

This role requires someone who is mobile and is willing to travel to our S2A Centres in Southampton, Portsmouth, Eastleigh, and Basingstoke.


As our Partnership Manager, you will:

  • Actively develop and build new partnerships in existing areas and identify new potential delivery areas, establishing effective on-going working relationships with referral agencies to increase engagement on the S2A Programme.
  • Be responsible for generating new learner referrals for the S2A centres, ensuring that centres hit learner start KPI’s and set and put in place actions to address underperformance where required.
  • Increase participation for new young people into our S2A Centres.
  • Build partnerships with local authorities to create pathways for young people into further education and employment.
  • Raise the profile of Skills 2 Achieve among professionals including local authority, teachers, care leavers, youth offending teams, social work teams and other referral agencies.
  • Identify growth opportunities which fit the departmental strategy and business plan, being instrumental in the identification and development of potential new centre locations.

  • Excellent relationship building skills with an ability to identify, develop and sustain new partnerships and relationships.
  • Proven business networking experience.
  • Previous experience working with vulnerable young people and an understanding of the challenges that they face.
  • Commitment and understanding of equal opportunities and disability awareness.
