Jobs Work as an independent carer (PA) PA/Care Assistant Job Ref. JG/EW | Permanent | Swindon SN1 | £14.00 per hour | Closes 31st Oct Introduction I am a young man of 24 years. I have Autism and ADHD. Currently living with my family, however I have a view of living on my own in the future. I am highly sociable and mask my skills and abilities well. I am fun, kind and caring. I like the outdoors, visiting the RDA( I currently have an assistant for this) I do not like to attend activities with a specific focus on needs and disabilities, but I would like to engage in a wider mainstream of activities. This can make identifying appropriate activities challenging. Duties I am looking for someone that can offer around 9 hours per week spread over Wednesday, Thursday and Friday during the working day (not evenings or weekends). Split over 2 or all 3 days, hours may be negotiated for the right candidate. This will include helping to identify activities and opportunities to fill my time appropriately, including managing daily living activities, looking for appropriate work or volunteering opportunities. Hours 9 hours a week Rate £14.00 per hour Essential Requirements The ideal candidate will be exceptional at sticking to boundaries within the remit of the role by helping me to broaden my understanding of contributing to society in a positive way. Experience in working within Social Care and with Autism/ADHD. Kind and Reliable. Flexible with an enhanced DBS Check and legally able to work in the UK. Desired Experience Ideally a car driver but not essential, a bicycle would be useful!
