Enham Trust Café
About the Enham Trust Cafe
The Enham Trust Café, the social heart of Enham Trust’s community in Andover, Hampshire, is an opportunity for disabled people, residents and volunteers at Enham Trust, to gain skills and confidence in hospitality and catering.
The Enham Trust Café works closely with local suppliers to create healthy food and drinks that everyone can enjoy.
We provide training, which is tailored to each individual to provide a foundation for future employment
“The Enham Trust Café offers work and volunteering placements with the opportunity of certified courses, leading to the possibility of future work for our clients within the catering industry.”
- Sharon Manzur – Head of Day Opportunities
As a pan-disability charity, the Enham Trust Café is fully accessible. Specially designed bespoke furnishings were made at Enham Trust’s own social enterprise, Mount Industries, which provides employment opportunities for disabled people including rise and fall work surfaces, so it is accessible for wheelchair users.
“Training at the café has been amazing so far. It has taught me so many skills and it’s something that I can really look forward to each day. The accessible design of the kitchen also means I am able to navigate around in my wheelchair, which makes me feel great”.
- Scott – Enham Trust Café Volunteer
