Brookfields School Move Open Day
Move Centre of Excellence, Brookfields School in Reading, is opening its doors on the 12th June to anyone interesting in finding out more about The Move Programme from Enham Trust.
The perfect opportunity to see The Move Programme ‘in action’, this day event will offer attendees the chance to tour the school, and meet the wonderful staff and pupils using the Programme to a high standard; hearing first-hand the tangible difference the Programme has made to the lives of the disabled children using it.
Berkshire-based Brookfields School achieved Move Centre of Excellence status for its continuous commitment to, and full integration of, The Move Programme across the entire curriculum of the school.
The event will also enable professionals, parents, and individuals looking to implement The Move Programme in their school, establishment, or as support for their own children the chance to share stories and ideas with each other, and form working relationships.
National flagship disability project The Move Programme has been working in partnership with leading disability charity Enham Trust since 2015, complementing the Trust’s near century-long ethos to ensure disabled people across the country live as independently as possible; the Programme working with a variety of professions and organisations to improve the functional mobility and well-being of children with disabilities and complex needs.
The Open Day will take place from 9:30am - 2:30pm on Monday 12th June 2017 at Brookfields School, Sage Road, Reading, RG31 6SW.
