Meet the team behind the Move Programme
The MOVE team is made up of staff based in the UK and a group of volunteer Consultants and Ambassadors.
Our Training Staff
Matt Toms, Move Facilitator
Matt began working for the MOVE Partnership in January 2016. Matt has a Ba(Hons) Primary Education degree and has taught across the 2 – 19 age range in a special needs school. His specialisms within school have been physical mobility, in particular MOVE, and ICT. Matt continues to work in a special needs school, teaching sixth form 3 days a week and working for the MOVE Partnership 2 days a week. Within the MOVE partnership Matt is responsible for training new practitioners and working alongside current practitioners on a consultancy basis.
Consultants and Ambassadors
In addition to these staff members the MOVE Team is also made up of a group of sixteen volunteer MOVE Consultants who are based across Europe and are available to provide support to MOVE Practitioners and Trainers locally when developing the use of the MOVE Programme within their area. A number of Young Person, Parent and Professional Ambassadors are also available as members of the MOVE Team to help raise awareness of the MOVE Programme and to provide support to new parents and professionals interested in the MOVE Programme.
