The Role

We are looking for a passionate Nutrition Activities Coordinator to create and deliver interactive and practical cooking and nutrition information sessions to our clients. Your role will be to support our clients to understand what healthy eating is and enable them to make informed choices in their everyday lives.

You will need to build strong relationships with our clients and their families to co-create and tailor activities and events that support the social interested of our clients.

The focus of this role is to provide person centred activities that enable our clients to achieve independence, choice, and control.


As our Nutrition Activities Co-ordinator, you will:

  • Take the lead in organising activities in our training kitchen, including planning, preparing and delivering cooking sessions.
  • Work with the wider Day Opportunities team to gain the skills required to support in nutritional and cooking activities in periods of absence.
  • Provide activities that are tailored to the needs and abilities of the individual and provide group activities that will bring our clients closer together.
  • Finding the balance between arranging activities that the individuals like doing and activities that will offer new experiences.

  • Skills and knowledge in health eating, nutrition, and cooking.
  • Ability to enable individuals to make informed choices about their lives.
  • Ability to motivate and build strong relationships with a wide variety of people.
