Enham Trust appoints new Head of Care in Andover
Leading Hampshire-based disability charity Enham Trust has appointed a new Head of Care, Registered Nurse Tracey Knatt.
Tracey, whom comes to the charity with over 30 years of experience in various areas of health & social care, will be overseeing the Trust’s 3 onsite 24-hour care homes, and care at home service; ensuring the quality of care delivered to Enham Trust’s disabled customers remains of a high standard, whilst supporting the care team in their continuing work to develop the principles of personalisation by promoting independence and person centred care & support.
Over the last 8 years Tracey has been employed by Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, initially at Basingstoke hospital, as a Discharge Co-Ordinator, and latterly as the Discharge Team Lead at Winchester Hospital.
Tracey has previously assisted in setting up a community intermediate care team locally, and also worked as a NHS Continuing Healthcare Assessor which included being a trainer for CHC & delivering a joint training programme with a Hampshire County Council representative.
Tracey remarks of her new position:
I’m delighted to be the new Head of Care at Enham Trust; ensuring we continue to instil the values of personalisation and person centred care into everything we do, and ensuring our disabled customers are supported to gain independence, choice, and control over their daily lives.
Enham Trust currently supports over 8,500 disabled people across the country in the cornerstone areas of their lives; providing housing, care, and employment & skills to ensure their customers live as independently as possible.
