Andover Trail Marathon raises over £1300 for local disability charity

A local annual running event, Andover Trail Marathon, has last weekend raised £1332.50 for leading disability charity Enham Trust.

The marathon, which started and ended at the Trust’s main site in Enham Alamein, saw running enthusiasts from the Andover area gather together to participate in the 26.2 mile-long track around Andover and the surrounding villages.

Matthew Spackman, Income Generation Lead, helped coordinate the event and had the following to say:

“The event was a huge success and saw over 300 runners take part in the three distances available. I would like to thank Andover Trail Runners for hosting the event at Enham Trust for the second year running.”

All funds raised by this event go towards Enham Trust’s ongoing work; supporting over 8,500 disabled people across the country each year in the cornerstone areas of their lives by providing housing, care, and various employment & skills opportunities to ensure each customer gains independence, choice, and control over every aspect of their lives.
