Weyhill Fair Pub has raised a fantastic amount of money for Enham Trust

Weyhill Fair Pub raises over £6,500 for Enham Trust

Local pub the Weyhill Fair last week presented leading disability charity Enham Trust with a substantial cheque; following a yearlong partnership between the business and the charity.

The Pub, having chosen Enham Trust as their Charity of the Year for 2016, collaborated with organisation on a series of fundraising events throughout the year; including quiz nights, car boot sales, and a hugely popular Firewalk, all raising a grand total of £6,754.95 for the charity’s vital work across the country.

“It’s been a pleasure to support Enham Trust in this way,” commented Mark Lazenby of the Weyhill Fair. “We’ve had a lot of fun, whilst backing a really important cause.”

Enham Trust’s Events Fundraiser, Christine Rowley, commented of the relationship:

We’re incredibly grateful to the Weyhill Fair Pub for choosing us as their Charity of the Year; during that time, we were supported by the Pub to make some valuable connections and raise our profile even further within the local area, whilst raising some much appreciated funds.

All funds raised will go towards Enham Trust’s work to support 8,500 disabled people living in England to gain choice, control, and independence in the cornerstone areas of their lives.
