Supermarket giants Tesco are working together with leading disability charity Enham Trust this January in the hopes of making Andover increasingly accessible.

The initiative, which asks customers of several local Tesco branches to vote for innovative charitable projects with a blue token, offers the most popular projects a chance to win £5000, £3000 or £2000 to launch the charity’s ideas into action.

Enham Trust’s proposed project focuses on the North Park footpath; making the pathway more accessible to people with disabilities and limited mobility.

Participating Tesco store in the area include:

  • Charlton, Andover, Tesco Express (SP10 4AJ)
  • Andover, Cricketers Way, Tesco Express (SP10 5DD)
  • Andover, Weyhill Road, Tesco Express (SP10 3BG)
  • Andover, Tesco Extra (SP10 1UZ)
  • Ludgershall, Tesco Express (SP11 9LU)
  • Tidworth, Tesco Express (SP9 7NR)

Running until 28th January, those wishing to support this project are asked to place one blue token in the appropriate box.

If successful, the funds raised will go towards the North Park footpath project as part of Enham Trust’s vital work across the country; supporting over 8,500 disabled people to live as independently as possible.
