Move Day 2016
Do you want to celebrate independence and movement?
Join in the celebration and take part in Move Day 2016
The theme of 10th national Move Day is Midsummer Mischief. The enchanting story of magic and mix-ups, fairies and fools that bring the characters to life. You don’t have to read Shakespeare to enjoy Midsummer Mischief just use your imagination and have fun with the theme.
If you would like to participate please request an activity pack which is crammed full of activity ideas such as plays, treasure hunts and dress up themes.
Midsummer marks the longest day of the year and in line with the theme we would like to encourage you to celebrate between 19th - 25th June 2016. Midsummer is a definite outdoor activity and we are hoping everyone will be able to get outside and have fun whilst also practicing their skills learnt through the Move Programme. Above all, we hope this theme will support an inclusive day with all children and care teams taking part and enjoying the day together.
The information pack will not only help you to plan your day more effectively but also give you some great activity and fundraising ideas. All activities can be adapted to the needs of the children that you work with.
The Move Programme at Enham Trust - We make life meaningful and positive for thousands of disabled people every day, and you can too! With your help we can support more people with disabilities.
We appreciate any money that you can raise to help us to transform the lives of disabled adults and children across the UK.
Celebrate Move Day by fundraising for us so that we can support even more children to access the Move Programme. This is not a requirement for the day but it is the perfect opportunity to raise some much needed funds for the charity whilst having fun
