Military Wives Choir for Enham Trust

Military Wives Choir for Enham Trust

How would you like to hear this local fantastic military wives choir?

They've performed for royalty including the queen, MP’s, on the BBC and even with pop star Cliff Richard, amongst many others.

We are delighted to announce that we have secured The Salisbury Plain Military Wives choir to perform for us on Sunday 23rd October 2016 at St Mary’s Church, Andover at 4pm.

Reserve your concert tickets

We are very lucky that the choir are able to sing for us at this time as they are hugely in demand. The choir will be singing a variety of songs, some from their two albums (In My Dreams and Stronger Together), including medleys, songs from the shows and, in commemoration of the anniversary of The Battle of the Somme this year, some of the traditional "wartime" songs. They will also sing the military wives anthem “Wherever you are".

If you haven’t heard this fantastic choir perform before, it’s a wonderful opportunity not to be missed and all in aid of Enham Trust. If you are already attending the annual Alamein commemoration day service at St Mary’s Church at 2.30pm you are more than welcome to stay on afterwards to hear the choir sing.

Book your tickets to see the Military Wives Choir

The cost per ticket is £10 and if you would like to attend the church service beforehand you are more than welcome.

The Salisbury Plain Military Wives Choir was formed in 2011 and after only 4 years has gone from strength to strength, now with 65 members. They have taken part in well over 100 performances to date and even helped break a world record in 2012 by joining many other military wives choirs in London to film a music video led by Gareth Malone. They even had a track on the Military Wives second album, which hit the charts at number 5! Through their fundraising they have raised over £100,000 for local charities and we are absolutely honoured that they are supporting Enham Trust on the 23rd of October.
