Training Kitchen make festive mince pies
Our clients, staff and volunteers have been busy making some delicious mince pies in time for the festive season at the Training Kitchen.
The Training Kitchen is designed to teach our clients new skills, helping them learn how to cook and create some lovely dishes, on their jounrey to independence.
Ali says the Training Kitchen is "really friendly, positive and great for socialising too. I've been coming here for 7 years. It's definitely taught me some great cooking skills that I can use too. I love mince pies and it's been lovely making my own ones this year."
Nick said "I really enjoy the Training Kitchen; my favourite part is taking my cooking home to share with my family! I love sharing my skills that I have learnt with my family and freinds."
Polly also said "I live in Elizabeth House, so I haven't got a kitchen. However, the Training Kitchen has given me the benefits of still being able to cook and learn new skills. I enjoy cooking, and then taking them back up to my home to share with everyone, especially my fiancé!"
