Job Overview

I’m a gentleman in my forties living in the PL2 area of Plymouth, I’m looking for a male personal assistant to help me live my life more independently with day to day tasks and support to attend activities that I enjoy such as swimming and going to the gym. I enjoy outdoor activities and would like someone to support me to pursue these. I would like to find someone who is cheerful, trustworthy and reliable with experience of mental health. It’s essential that the applicant has experience supporting people with mental health issues and has a full driving license and their own vehicle.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support to access the community to go to activity such as swimming, gym, golf and other outdoor pursuits.
• Support with organising other activities that I would like to try
• Any other reasonable task to allow the service user to live independently

Hours: Up to 9 hours per week

Essential requirements:

• Enhanced DBS required. Cost met by employer
• Legally entitled to work in the U.K
• Full driving Licence and own vehicle
• Experience with mental health

Desirable requirements:

• Experience in health & social care
