As part of our Information Advice and Guidance Service Enham Trust supports disabled people to employ their own staff. This vacancy is not a role within Enham Trust but an excellent opportunity to work directly for one of our customers.
Personal Care assistant required for a female service user living in the PL9 area of Plymouth. 15 Hours per week and the hours of work required are as follows; Monday – Friday 9.30am – 11.30am, 5pm – 5.30pm and 8pm – 8.30pm. Flexibility is requires as additional hours may be required to cover sickness or holidays. A driver is essential to enable the client to access the community and appointments. Duties and responsibilities will include supporting with personal care duties and dressing, prompting with medication, meal preparation, general household tasks and any other reasonable tasks to enable the client to live independently. Previous experience working with adults with physical and communication difficulties is desirable, however training will be given.
