Permanent | Full time (37.5 hrs. per week) | Hampshire | up to £30,000 per annum DOE

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading disability charity that welcomes creative ideas based on sound judgement and experience allowing for growth. You will be part of a wider People team that supports operational colleagues and hiring managers in creating an excellent candidate to employee journey.

Reporting to the Head of People, this role will have overall responsibility for operational recruitment, selection and on-boarding.

The role

The purpose of this role is to develop and deliver effective and innovative approaches to people resourcing, ensuring the charity is able to achieve its plan for growth. This will include:

  • Improving resourcing expertise of managers
  • Developing recruitment systems, processes and tools
  • Candidate attraction and selection methods


Qualified to CIPD level 5 (or working towards) or qualified by experience you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with good decision-making abilities.

To be successful you will need to have significant experience within a similar role, including providing professional advice and support to recruiting managers. Demonstrable experience of managing and delivering recruitment and selection campaigns to a positive outcome is essential, as are excellent IT skills with experience of MS Office and the ability to gather, analyse and interpret data and draft reports. Up to date knowledge of relevant employment law is also required.
