Personal Care Assistant - Female
Hours Required: 30 per week split between 2 (some flexibility required).
Hourly Rate: £10.20 per hour

Female Personal Assistants
As my Personal Assistant your job will be to provide personal, domestic and social support. You must be reliable and able to work flexible hours. You must also be able to respect my privacy and understand the need for confidentiality in all areas of this work. You will also be able to work on your own initiative.
As my Personal Assistant you will be directed by and accountable to me in all aspects of your work. You should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests.

Client Biography:
I have a brain injury and the condition M.E. which means that I need support with many aspects of daily living. I am hoping to recruit 2 Personal Assistants who can help me live an independent life and support me in parenting.

Ideal Candidate:
My Personal Assistant must be able to handle the physical skills of lifting, pushing, and bending. You do not have to be physically strong to do this but it does help, as does good general health.

Essential Criteria:
The post is subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check at the employer’s request prior to commencing employment. This is confidential and at no cost to yourself.

You need a full clean driving license and to be a car owner with business insurance, mileage paid.

• You have a duty as an employee to report all accidents to your employer immediately. You must record all details in the accident book.
• You have a duty as an employee to report all defects and or hazards which may give rise to an accident.

The post carries a 3 month probationary period.
Type of experience required:
An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring service (DBS) will be required the cost will be met by the employer
